Leadership

Dan Mann

Founding Partner

Dan has an extensive background in both traditional and alternative investments. Previously he was Executive VP at Trammell Bell, LLC, where he consulted large institutions across industry groups on energy savings and “smart” technology solutions. Dan also has expertise in providing advisement to institutions, investment professionals, and ultra-high net worth families on alternative investments. After beginning his career as an alternative investment analyst for a large institutional investment consulting firm, he was Regional Vice President for Steben & Co. and Vice President and Marketing Director for Morgan Keegan and Co. He has directly advised on hedge funds, hedge fund of funds, private equity, private REITS, and managed futures products in client portfolios.

Dan started Bulleblock because of the flaws he saw in current funding models and his desire to provide investors with previously unavailable opportunities. “Smart” Securities not only accomplished these goals but can be used to solve complex problems and improve efficiencies for any large-scale capital acquisition endeavor.

Dan graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Economics.

Dick Sullivan

Advisor

Dick is the former VP of Operations for the Jack Eckerd Corporation where he oversaw logistics, financial management, marketing and talent management for what became the second largest drug store chain in the United States with 2800 stores. After a 27-year career at Eckerd, Dick started his own business, and like many entrepreneurs, struggled to achieve success. He eventually grew it to over $30 Million in revenue but learned first-hand about the problems he now helps business owners, venture capital and private equity groups overcome in his current business called Saddletree Consulting. Dick has worked to enhance start-up companies, provide management training, turn around struggling operations, improve the bottom line, secure capital and establish financial and operating metrics for teams to achieve success. Having been through an IPO, he understands both how to achieve the best price for a company as well as how to optimize their debt and equity stacks.

Dick, who will evaluate businesses for appropriate private offerings, liquidation events, and optimization, will use Bulleblock and their associated partners to add value to his current business and the clients that he serves.

Dick, a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, also received his MBA from the University of Michigan.
